Our Best family vacation through RIHC was in Phuket with our luxurious stay at The Royal Lighthouse Villas at Boat Lagoon. It was one of our yearly vacations we take through Royal India Holiday Club as a member.

It was a nice and peaceful place for a relaxing 4N/5D holiday. It was even better since it was a big and lovely Villa. The villa was beautiful inside and had lovely landscape on the outside. The very site of this gorgeous villa simply took our breath away! The kids quickly ran up the staircase and we followed them. To our surprise the bedrooms were spacious and really so beautiful with big beds and cupboards to store our stuff. The view from the window was that of the pond right below. The attached toilets were big and beautiful. The patio on the outside was breathtaking since it was facing the beautiful pond with a walkover bridge on it. We could hear the birds chirping and see little butterflies playing. The villa had free internet connection with Television in both bedrooms as well as the living room. The kitchen was fully equipped and had all the necessary items that we needed to cook with an additional microwave oven and water heater. We could even make our own chapattis for breakfast It was a paradise if ask me. The maintenance was good and the cleaners would come and clean up everyday. The manager of the place was very helpful too.

The walk around the place took us to the boats, and yachts and of course we were tempted to stop by at the Bakery @the boat lagoon for a coffee and some sandwiches. We came across a supermarket where we shopped for snacks and groceries that we needed to stock up and then went to the Thai massage palour for foot massage and body massage which was really cheap and great! We even came across various restaurants for us to dine.

As far as places to visit is concerned, you could just take a mini bus (a big taxi with other passengers) from the airport. They will take you to the place you are going. They will also make a quick stop at the travel agency for tourist in the taxi to book a tour package. We booked the tour package as well and they have a wide range to choose from. We had booked a one day tour to two famous islands in Phuket and there was also food included in it with complimentary fruits in the evening. The best part of the booking is that the vehicle will come to Royal Phuket and pick you up and take to the nearest ferry point and there on you can continue your journey by speed which is all arranged by the tour agency and they do have snorkeling as well... you need to ask them about that.

Our 5 days vacation ended very quickly and it was soon time to leave but we had no regrets since we were taking back with us the best memories ever.

We are surely going to recommend this place to our friends and other RIHC members. We are glad we made this trip to Phuket and stayed at The Royal Lighthouse Villas @ Boat Lagoon because the memories of that place still linger in our minds and the kids still talk about it. We are so looking forward to visiting it again in the near future.
