Our 5D/4N vacation at Royal Goan Beach Club Calvaddo.
We
are truly happy to say we had a very lovely stay at Royal Goan Beach
Club Calvaddo while we were on holiday in Goa. It was a really beautiful
place with lovely landscaping and lots of coconut trees.
When we arrived we were greeted by the friendly staff who did our check in for us and we were then escorted to our apartment. Ours was a Two Bedroom Standard Apartment (Sleeps 6) and a perfect one. It was on the 1st floor and was facing the pool with a big veranda just outside our apartment to sit and sip our morning cuppa coffee. The apartment was very spacious and a fully equipped one. The kitchen were nicely done up with cabinets and it also had all the necessary items you would need in case you plan on cooking. The apartment also had a LED TV with cabel connection. The WiFi connections were good as well. The bedrooms were upstairs and that gave the kids all the more reasons to shout with joy. Nice spacious bedroom and a view of the fields from the windows that is a thumbs up and we loved watching the birds and see the cows and buffalos grazing.
The resort had a little grocery store which has basic necessities or we had to just walk out of the resort where at a distance of 10mins where there were two supermarkets to shop and stock up.
With kids along most of our time was spent at the pool and splashing in it. Other than the pool the kids would spend their afternoons at the kids club where the staff would provide them with a little entertainment time like games or art and craft which they really enjoyed the most. There was a little library from where you could borrow books to read.
In the evenings we would walk down to the Benaulim Beach which is really close to resort. We enjoyed the sand and the smell of the sea. After that we would go to the resort for dinner at their restaurant. We also attended an evening of music and buffet at the restaurant where we got to enjoy an evening of live goan music and a little bit of dancing while we indulged in our meal.
The staff were all pleasant and were always ready to be of assistance when ever we needed them. The housekeeping was good too and they kept our place neat and tidy.
I would say it was like a stay at home for us although being away from home (If you know what I'm trying to say...hahaha). We had a lovely time there and we relaxed well. But when it was time to leave the kids were sad since they didn't want to leave that place...they truly adored it.
We will surely be visiting that place once again in future, but for now we have the beautiful memories all saved in a folder through pictures that will always remind us of the beautiful stay we had at RGBC.
