Hi readers, I am back after a long break. Been really busy lately, but again I thought I really need to write my blog again simply so that I can pen down every happy moment that happens in my life. My name is Aruna Mascarenhas and I hail from Goa, India. I am currently living in Singapore since the year 2007. I am happily married and a mom to 4 adorable boys aged 13, 10, 7 and 4. Read all about me and my small world, where happiness is just round about every nook and corner. You don't have to be rich and famous to be happy you just have to see happiness in everything and I see happiness in my husband and kids and my household chores, my home cooked meals, baking and volunteering in school, church and our RC. So come follow me on my adventure as I unfold new chapters and experiences in my everyday life being a stay home mom. Hope you will enjoy reading my blog and suggestions to improve it are always welcome. Thank you, Aruna Mascarenhas

Our Karma Royal stay at Bellevilla Chiang Mai - Thailand

We've always had many enjoyable holidays and each one seems to be better than the other. We had been on a 2 week vacation stay at Bellevilla in Chiang Mai, Thailand in December 2016. The place is beautiful and the scenery is breathtaking. The weather there is cooler in the evenings. Loved the cottage we stayed in. Specially the back porch and the little stream that follows outside. We would sit out early every morning sipping coffee while enjoying the morning breeze and hearing the birds chrip. The housekeeping service is good and so are the staff at the reception. We enjoyed our daily walks around the place. You can catch the elephants at a walking distance from Bellevilla and you can even ride on them which is even better. There is also the awesome buggy that would ferry us around the place but we loved to walk most of the time. We would ride the bicycles every evening and they are readily available if you ask at the reception counter

We are a happily married couple since 2002 and are proud parents of 4 boys. We are constantly busy with our work, household chores, looking after the needs of our kids and bringing them up well, that we don't focus much on celebrating Valentines day. But ofcourse, we do wish and kiss each other the morning of Valentines day. But last year, Valentines day turned out to be extra special. My husband along with our 4 boys really surprised me by baking some yummy heart shaped cookies while I was still in bed. I thought i was having a dream when I saw them all sitting near my bed with a tray of cookies in hand and together they all shouted "Happy Valentine's day...we love you very much". How they managed to make such delicious cookies is still a mystery to me but yes they did bake them because I found my precious kitchen in a real mess...ha ha. That Valentines day was definitely the best day for me because I got to be the Valentine of not just my husband but of m

To me Christmas means Celebrating the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. It brings a message of peace, love and hope. Christmas is a time for moments filled with the season of wonder and joy. The decorating of the tree, writing letters to Santa, baking Christmas cookies and pies. It is also a time for families to gather and create new memories to hold dear to their hearts. I specially love Christmas because I really enjoy following the traditions of our ancestors. Preparing goan sweets like neurios, kulkuls, fruit cake, ete. We also love attending midnight mass and then staying back in church to sing Christmas Carols with church friends. We then return home and enjoy a hot cup of Cocoa and Fruit Cake. The next morning is spent opening Christmas gifts and then preparing a feast for family and friends to enjoy. There is always lot to do during Christmas as a family but we never forget to visit the old age home and spend our time with the less fortunat

Our Royal Stay at Karma Kandara in Bali I am back with yet another review of our Royal and pleasant stay with Royal Resorts/Karma Royal Group. We along with our 4 boys had a really awesome stay at Karma Kandara in a Three Bedroom Pool Villa. The best we've experienced so far. We were greeted with happy smiling staff as we arrived and while we waited, we were served complimentary drinks. We were later given our villa key and taken there by a buggy which was fun to ride in. The villa has very big and spacious rooms and is perfect for big families to live in. They gave us a complimentary fruit basket everyday with different Indonesian fruits to try. The concierge service is great and so are the staff and housekeeping. The french doors and windows of the villa gives you a real pleasant view of the place and of course the monkeys and the birds. The monkeys do not cause a menace at all if you are careful enough to close your

We are truly happy to say we had a very lovely stay at Royal Goan Beach Club Calvaddo while we were on holiday in Goa. It was a really beautiful place with lovely landscaping and lots of coconut trees. When we arrived we were greeted by the friendly staff who did our check in for us and we were then escorted to our apartment. Ours was a Two B edroom Standard Apartment (Sleeps 6) and a perfect one. It was on the 1st floor and was facing the pool with a big veranda just outside our apartment to sit and sip our morning cuppa coffee. The apartment was very spacious and a fully equipped one. The kitchen were nicely done up with cabinets and it also had all the necessary items you would need in case you plan on cooking. The apartment also had a LED TV with cabel connection. The WiFi connections were good as well. The bedrooms were upstairs and that gave the kids all the more reasons to shout with joy. Nice spacious bedroom and a view of the fields from the windows that is a

We had a lovely one weeks stay at Royal Candidasa in Bali, which is really cool since it is located away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is a beautiful resort that faces the sea. The apartments are clean and nicely furnished with cool breeze from the balcony. Just so cozy to sit and sip your morning cup of coffee. The kitchenette has a mini fridge and microwave with cutlery. The bedrooms are nice and spacious with a sitting room and mini dining area. The staff was very friendly and the food there was delicious with some cool entertainment by the Balinese Dancers when we dined at the resort restaurant. We really loved everything about the resort and it's beautiful. There are a few tiny shops and eateries just outside the resort. The walk down the road takes you to some beautiful paddy fields and also gives you a view of the beautiful mountains. We did a lot of siteseeing and tasted a variety of Balinese food. Really enjoyed our stay there and we defin
